American Heart Association – Heart Walk

With over 5,000 participants each year, the team was challenged to build upon and create a memorable experience for all participants and volunteers.  Our first year, we increased value by adding a number of entertainment options before, during and after the fun run/walk.  Worked closely with sponsors to improve ROI on their investments and bring the experience to a greater level than ever before.  Our team created a cohesive volunteer plan along the walk route that weaved throughout the Downtown skyline, dedicated to a participant centric experience.

Our 2nd year challenge was to change of the entire route of the walk through downtown, amongst a new downtown district the start line was created and the finish line was on the home plate of the new downtown Baseball Stadium.  Our team worked in partnership with city officials, baseball officials and sponsors to redesign an experience for the guests, implementing marketing strategies to educate the community on the new enhancements.
